In which my New Year was quite lovely.

So update number one, I've got an iPhone, or an iPhone 4S, or whatever you wanna call it! 'Twas a late Christmas gift from Dad. And Siri is pretty marvelous. I asked her math problems, and darn is she the ultimate calculator.

Well, as if it were not a surprise, I'm posting via iPhone! :D It's pretty epical, I've gotta say. So I'm obviously really happy. And as if that weren't enough, my New Year's day was spectacular! Luci & I played with sparklers in front of the Colosseum. It was really cool.

Welcome to Italy.

It's 3:30 right now, and boy am I exhausted. We arrived in Rome at about 2:17 when I specifically wrote down 2:00 sharp. Now I'm figuring out how this is going to affect the rest of the day, maybe even the rest of my life.

I showed Dad my schedule on the plane, and he gladly accepted it, so right now, we're shopping & sightseeing. Luci & I shared a slice of pizza and an iced tea near the Tower of Pisa. Coinkadink? So far, we've been shopping for an hour and a half, and we've only checked out three stores & had four restroom stops, or as Luci claims it to be, a 'calling'. I guess she had too much iced tea. >.< Well, Rome is quite beautiful, a lot prettier than Venice, in my opinion.. ;)

PS.. errmm.. I found out that you're supposed to wear dots on New Year's Eve for good luck. I think it's a superstition that originated in China. Too bad I'm wearing stripes! Eeekk! Wish me luck!

Luci & I pose as Dad captures a picture of us to commemorate our 'travels in Italy' as he calls it. It sounds really fancy when he says it, though. So picture a man saying that with, like, a Scottish-American accent.

New Years' Eve Plans.

So, as I've announced before, my flight to Italy is tomorrow! I'm really excited because it's only my second time going to Italy, and I'm spending New Years' Day there! And I'm sure this year's will be better than last year's New Year's celebration. We were stuck in an airport in Turkey, and it was pretty boring. I've already planned everything out in my planner that Luci got me for Christmas last year because I was disorganized back then. Ahhh... the good old days! Here's my planner:

Sorry about that quick sketch at the lower-right corner, I get bored sometimes. >.< All I need to do is show Dad my planner. Gosh, I'm so excited for New Year's Eve! You know that whole '2012 conspiracy world is going to end' thing? Well at first, I was really scared that the world was going to end before I was a famous actress, but then I realized that it's a rumor, and how can anyone possibly predict that? Last time I checked, there were no oracles.

And moving on, I know what to wear! I think I'm going to wear my pink dress that I wore for my ballet recital, but it's just a tad bit too fancy. Hmm... maybe I can wear my lacrosse dress? I sure do love my stripes! Or maybe my rainbow dress. Well actually, it's Luci's but she wouldn't really care if I used it. Lacrosse dress it is!
